What is Ethernet?

Ethernet is the most widely-used technology for local area networks (LAN), including wireless LANs. An Ethernet LAN typically uses coaxial cable or special grades of twisted pair wires. However, Accurate Electronics' Ethernet Radios can be used to establish a wireless LAN that replaces the use of coaxial cable. Ethernet is standardized by the IEEE (IEEE 802.3).
