What is a notch filter?
Frequently Asked Questions
|
A notch filter is a device that allow all radio frequencies to pass through it except for those in a specific range. For instance, 900 MHz Ethernet Radios can be used to achieve connectivity in a network, but the band used by these radios may be subject to interference from devices using adjacent frequencies, such as pager towers or cell phone towers. A notch filter will block all signals coming through the device from specific adjacent frequencies, so that the radio may operate without interference.
